ABOUT MORARI BAPU
Morari Bapu, commonly referred to as Bapu, is a world renowned speaker. As a 14-year old in his hometown Talgajarda, Bapu recited his first Katha to three villagers. Fast-forward to the present day, Bapu has recited over 800 Kathas worldwide touching the hearts of millions. Bapu, however, has never sought power or fame, rather humbly wishes to spread the message of Truth, Love and Compassion.
Bapu highly respects the Ram Charit Manas (Ramayana written by Goswami Tulsidasji) and its teachings, and has often said that an individual can find the answers to any questions they may have within this scripture. As a refreshingly practical individual, Bapu encourages individuals to spend a few moments remembering one’s faith, rather than adhering to rituals. Though Bapu is a Hindu, he is a strong believer of uniting everyone regardless of faith, background or societal ranking.
Bapu, however, has never sought power or fame, rather humbly wishes to spread the message of Truth, Love and Compassion.
Bapu has openly addressed many controversial topics such as transgenderism and prostitution, and challenged patriarchal views of gender inequality.
Understanding Hindi or Gujarati, his language of choice, is not essential to understanding Bapu. Rather, his presence alone can bring an individual closer to their faith, beliefs and heart.
